About the role:

  • Work with sales to drive business opportunity of all B2B enquiries to exceed the revenue and cost targets for each financial year as set out and agreed by the CTS board of directors.
  • Act as single point of contact on behalf of the Academy and Airline Training for business accounts.
  • Maintain at all times the role of Customer Advocate in line with other members of the team, seeking to always find a way to resolve customer issues or requests fully by maintaining a professionally challenging stance in search of such solutions with internal groups
  • Maintain a credible, professional approach to individual colleagues and business teams through clear and appropriate communication, respect for the role, the circumstances of others and their ability to offer support and solutions
  • Maintain a level of L3Harris, industry and competitor product knowledge appropriate for the role
  • Utilise the adopted Customer Relationship Management tool, ensuring data is consistently accurate and complete.

Day to day responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Focal point for all B2B customers in the Academy and Airline Training, progressing each opportunity for business and building relationships with the airlines.
  • Act as the single point of sales order confirmation for all UK Airline Training activities: Manage communication feed from operations, planning and finance to ensure B2B Cadet progress is monitored throughout their training, updating sales orders accordingly. Support as required; specifically identifying the issues of visa invitation letters and others similar or related documents in order to ease customer travel. Work with the Finance team for reporting customer credit control queries to relevant account holders and resolving any customer invoice queries.
  • All customer orders and enquiries will be directed through the Customer Business Team
  • Customer Business Team will liaise with other members of the operations team to understand inventory availability and how these potential orders can be delivered
  • Customer Business Team will then offer proposal to customer and confirm the sales order with the customer. Only once the sales order has been confirmed will the inventory be firmly booked
  • Ensure customers are invoiced appropriately for the business placed with
  • Support the Sales team with understanding current capacity, onboarding new customers, new bid proposals and have an understanding of market pricing.
  • Corresponding with customers to ensure that they meet the prerequisites required for each course
  • Liaise with the Planning and Rostering Departments to plan courses in line with Customer requirements
  • Consolidation and reporting of any customer feedback on the delivery of training to foster continual improvement of the service offerings by Airline Training with the end goal to improve our NPS score.
  • Complete other duties that may be reasonably required within the Airline Customer Business Team.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven organisational and administrative skills with demonstrable success in managing a variety of tasks and/or activities
  • Sound understanding of sales processes, budgets and contract administration
  • Previous SAP experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office
  • Solid numeracy skills
  • Self motivated, proactive, confident and highly collaborative
  • Ability to work in a high pressured and dynamic environment
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing requirements
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Professional telephone and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong experience in a public facing role
  • Previous aviation training industry knowledge and experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given
  • International outlook, ability to deal comfortably with various cultures is preferred
  • Educated to GCSE English and Maths, Level A-C (or equivalent)
  • Microsoft Excel Intermediate level
