Project Manager

Location: Crawley/hybrid

We have a great Project Manager opportunity to join our Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) team.

What the role has to offer:

• Exposure across cutting-edge technologies in Electronic Warfare, Radar, UAVs and research

• Working with a variety of customers across the UK and Internationally

• Flexibility to work in a hybrid role between the Crawley office and home (on average 3 days per week required in office)

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Radar and Product Support, on a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in:

• Owning multiple projects and specific bid management activities, ensuring their successful delivery

• Applying project management principles, giving rigour to change control, commercial awareness and stakeholder management

• Providing structure, clarity and governance to the process and discipline relating to bid management activities

• Managing multi-disciplinary project and bid teams to deliver high quality business winning proposals

• Managing relationships with key internal and external customers both within the UK and internationally

About you

Ideally, you’ll:

• Have worked in a previous project/bid management role and can demonstrate experience in delivering against multiple successful projects/bids

• Have experience working within a complex, multidisciplinary, multi-site organisation, preferably within the Defence sector

• Have full business lifecycle management experience including capture, qualification and developing capture plans and winning strategies

• Have proven experience and understanding of the Project Management process (including Change Control, Risk Management and Information Management)

• Possess a good understanding of generic processes and techniques used to schedule bid management activities

• Be experienced and adept at building and managing strong, long lasting relationships across customers, partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Possess excellent analytical, organisational and team working skills
