CONTRACT TYPE: Freelance contract

CONTRACT TERM: 01/01/23 – 30/11/23 with possible extension to 31/12/23

RENUMERATION: £31,166.67 actual per annum (11 months) – possible one month extension

HOURS: 32 hours per week (equivalent 4 days)

The Sussex Council of Training Providers (SCTP) is looking for an experienced apprenticeships/employer engagement professional to help deliver our Transform programme in East Sussex. The programme launched in January 2021 and is part funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and led by East Sussex County Council. It aims to raise the profile of apprenticeships and skills training in East Sussex amongst SMEs and will support a minimum of 150 SMEs over two years to access government skills training and incentives, and unspent Levy funds to pay for apprenticeship training.

The Transform Adviser will be responsible for engaging employers into the programme and will be providing SMEs with impartial advice on skills training and access to apprenticeships over 13 months, signposting to appropriate training provision, and support to unspent levy funds from levy payers in East Sussex such as East Sussex County Council. The Advisers will also deliver training to business support organisations, work closely with the East Sussex Growth Hub, and support our annual apprenticeship roadshow events that bring together employers, training providers and would be apprentices.
