About this role:
We are seeking confident volunteer speakers, who are able to deliver our charity presentation to a wide variety of groups across Kent, Surrey & Sussex. Full training and support is given for this role and all materials are available for you (projector, screen, handouts etc.).
What will I be doing?
• Delivering a prepared presentation of approx. 45 minutes to a wide variety of audiences.
• Informing the general public of all the ways they can get involved and support us.
• Responding flexibly to different group’s needs and expectations.
What skills do I need?
• Passionate about the work of the charity
• Experience in public speaking settings would be beneficial
• Access to your own transport would be beneficial
• Able to vary presentation style and demonstrate empathy with diverse audiences
• Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
• Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic manner
What can we offer?

When can I volunteer?
The requests for presentations vary and can be mornings, afternoons and evenings. All talks will take place within your local area.

You will be providing support and reporting to the Talks & Community Events Coordinator.
