Job overview

An opportunity has arisen to join the PPE team based at Haywards Heath as a PPE Store Person.

This is a band 3 full time position Monday - Friday. The post-holder will work as part of the PPE team, support the co-ordination and distribution of PPE across Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, this includes loading and unloading deliveries. Quality control of goods, maintenance of record systems, planning and completing of pick list and preparation of deliveries going out. Lifting & Handling will be involved.

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for receipt, storage and rotation of stock, including loading and unloading deliveries. Quality control of goods, maintenance of record systems, planning and completing of pick list and preparation of deliveries out. Decanting of supplies and maintaining the highest possible standard of hygiene.

The post holders will work as part of the PPE team, support the co-ordination and distribution of scrubs, uniforms and some medical devices, assisting in the co-ordination of the Trust PPE survey monkey, external reporting systems and maintaining the Trusts fit testing arrangements, including training of staff.

The post holder will assist the Logistic Manager as required.

Lifting will be involved.

Working within a small team, the role holder would be part of the PPE Team whilst being part of the wider Clinical Governance Team.
