Our Head of Internal Audit is recruiting for a qualified Senior Internal Auditor to join the team! The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional from a financial services background. As Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for performing all stages of assigned audits.

Main Purpose:

To deliver high quality audit opinions across a range of topics. Internal Auditors add value to the business and scheme trustees through identifying ways in which we can be more efficient or effective and / or reduce the business’ risk exposure in a cost-efficient manner.

Senior Internal Auditors are largely expected lead their own audits from start to finish with oversight from the Internal Audit leadership team.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• Qualified / finalist in a suitable professional qualification, or qualified by experience
• Previous financial services experience in internal audit
• Strong numeracy, analytical and report writing skills
• Able to understand complex issues, then identify and communicate the root cause of these issues
• Understanding of risk management and how audit findings and conclusions relate to risk management
• Able to converse with a range of different personalities

Desirable:

• 2:1 Degree, preferably in a numerical subject
• Experience of working in the pensions market
• Data analytics experience
