Job overview
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and organised individual to work in this very important role as part of the Estates Teams based in East and West Sussex.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work with the Compliance Manager to co-ordinate, support and improve the monitoring processes across a wide range of Estates activities ensuring compliance with our regulatory and statutory obligations .
You will need to have good Technical knowledge of building services and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively manage the workload and administrative tasks utilising CAFM software.
The successful applicant will require a flexible attitude, be able to work autonomously and as part of a team which may include participation in an out of hours on-call rota when required.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Assist in the strategic development and operational delivery of the full range of hard FM services across the Trust and Trust Joint Venture vehicles, including, but not limited to, the management and provision of statutory, planned and reactive maintenance of assets, sites and buildings, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
To support the Compliance Manager and Head of Estates and Facilities, ensuring the Trust complies with NHS guidance and statutory legislation, as well as assisting the CAFM manager with updating and maintaining the asset management system.
To actively promote hard services compliance within the Trust developing a culture of excellent customer service.
To assist with the performance for cross directorate contracts, establishing and managing call off contract administration and performance management arrangements.
To deputise in the absence of the Compliance Manager and provide cross functional support.

Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
- Detailed knowledge of Health Facilities/Support Services legislative guidance and operational requirements
- Strong working knowledge of a wide range of Estates and administrative procedures gained through training and experience
- Experience of health and safety procedures including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Legionella, COSHH and Fire safety
Desirable criteria
- Experience and evidence of analysing, interpreting and presenting information
- A higher professional qualification or equivalent significant experience in a hard Facilities related subject.
