Front of House Team Leader
Gatwick Airport
Main purpose of this role:
To support the Chef Manager in the planning and organisation of the Front of House, providing managerial cover and support in the absence of the Chef Manager.
Relationships:
a) Responsible to: The Chef Manager
b) Responsible for: The Team Members under your control
c) Liaison with: The Chef Manager, The Operations Manager
Key responsibilities are to:
• Lead the front of house team to deliver an exceptional service to our customers
• Support the Chef Manager in finalising weekly Front of House rotas
• Be the face of Blue Apple by providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere
• Ensure high standards of presentation and cleanliness in the front of house areas at all times
• Recruit, coach and develop team members
• Build and maintain customer relationships to enable us to continually offer a service that meets their needs
• Support the kitchen team with food preparation and other duties
• To be based primarily at one terminal restaurant but to remain flexible in supporting the other in times of staff absence
