Job overview

The post holder will take responsibility for specific areas of functionality as directed by the Digital Transformation Manager, informing of the best way to set up systems to achieve needs and advising of any system limitations and alternatives that may arise in discussion.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of the team to carry out design and configuration tasks to an agreed schedule and priority.

To be a Subject Matter Expert for specific areas of clinical systems as directed by the Digital Transformation Manager.

To support the Digital Portfolios, contributing to discussions on the design and configurations of systems; from inputting into the system design specifications to writing up system documentation.

To be part of the Carenotes Maintenance support group, providing support evenings and weekends as required for the monthly updates and major upgrades.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
  • Possess a degree OR has acquired core system design and configuration skills and significant knowledge via extensive practical experience
  • Evidence of continuous personal and professional development

- Knowledge/Experience
Essential criteria
  • Significant experience working in a team configuring a complex clinical system
  • Extensive experience in technical area covering Systems design and configuration of clinical systems
  • A basic understanding of the requirements of the NHS patient record recording and the ability to apply that knowledge to the design and configuration of CareNotes
