Job summary

Are you looking to join a friendly, supportive and caring team in the beautiful county of West Sussex, where you'd be ideally placed to enjoy the beach and the countryside while never far from city life either. We currently have a number of vacancies for enthusiastic PWPs across the county, either working in our core IAPT service, Time to Talk, or our dedicated long-term conditions IAPT-LTC team, Time to Talk Health, with various bases across West Sussex. Either way you'll be well looked after so that you can deliver the best possible care for our patients.

If you're an experienced Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) looking to develop your career or a newly qualified PWP who is keen to start in a service that achieves consistently good recovery and reliable improvement, we'd like to hear from you. We'll provide you with a full induction as well as enhanced support through weekly clinical supervision, alongside protected time for clinical skills and professional development.

Main duties of the job

Applicants should be motivated to deliver the best care to patients, making the most of your enhanced written and verbal communication skills. Your training will have provided you with ample experience of working in primary care settings and you'll enjoy working in a busy team environment. Experienced in risk assessment, you'll have a sound understanding of the stepped model of care, ability to follow procedures and work well with others.

We particularly welcome applications from disabled, LGBT+ and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates as we would like our TTT/H team to reflect the diverse communities we serve. As a Trust, we recognise the positive value of diversity in providing high quality and culturally competent care; we are a Disability Confident Employer, and benefit from thriving and supportive BAME, Disability, LGBT+ and Religion and Belief Staff Networks.

We may be able to help you with a relocation package if you are considering moving to West Sussex.

We strongly encourage you to give us a call to discuss the role and we very much welcome visits to the Service.

About us

Our teams are led by Senior PWPs and Senior Therapists to ensure a team culture that focuses on patient safety. Across our services we employ PWPs, CBT Therapists, Counsellors, Administrators and Employment Support Specialists, working together to deliver a comprehensive Talking Therapies Service adhering to NICE guidance. Our clinicians provide interventions by telephone, in person, by video platforms and on-line. You'll have opportunity to facilitate our Group programmes and when working with patients with LTCs you'll be supported to liaise with wider healthcare professionals as part of your clinical contacts. The teams are based in a variety of venues across the county and benefit from opportunities to work from home.
