Job summary Due to maternity leave of the ward manager, We are looking for an experienced nurse to join the leadership team on Brunswick Ward asthe ward manager for a period of 6 months. We encourage you to apply if you are an experienced B6 nurse or a current B7 nurse. Brunswick Ward is a 10 bedded, dementia acute assessment ward, located within Mill view hospital in Hove. Main duties of the job We are looking for someone who leads a team with passion, clinical expertise and great communication. We need you to help us sustain our high standards and to help us to continue to develop further. You will be expected to have a good understanding of professional boundaries And ensure you uphold the NMC code of conduct. It is a role where you will be empowered to implement positive changes on the ward. You will be supported by a matron and a Clinical Lead Nurse Manager and you will be working alongside an established and experienced multi-disciplinary team (MDT). We are passionate on Brunswick Ward about providing the highest standards of care and ensuring to implement least restrictive practice. About us You will be managing a team that is resilient, thoughtful in its approach and most of all, kind and supportive to the patients they care for and the colleagues they work alongside. Flexibleworkingis important to us at Mill View Hospital and we would consider any flexible working requests you may have which will help you have a healthy work-life balance. You would be provided with on-going support via regular supervision and weekly leadership meetings.
