Hours: 21 per week (3 days)

Salary: £23,815 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience, pro rata £13,336 - £14,000

The Role

This is a key role within an experienced Human Resources team, where you will play an integral role in the  successful delivery of recruitment and resourcing across all areas of the business

You will be responsible for supporting end to end recruitment, working closely with the Resourcing Lead and the wider HR team. You will liaise with a variety of stakeholders including Practice Managers, Unit Heads, Hiring managers, the HR Team and internal and external candidates.

You understand the need to proactively build and maintain relationships across all levels of the business using written and interpersonal skills. You also understand the challenges of confidential and sensitive issues whilst ensuring team members are supported and company risk is limited. You will be pro-active in your thinking and delivery, naturally identifying ways to improve existing process and establish new approaches.

This role works collaboratively with internal and external customers to promote Inclusion, Diversity & Equality in every aspect of our work. You will support candidates so they have a positive experience and journey with Itad, irrespective of the outcome of their application.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support Itad’s Recruitment and the Resourcing Lead
  • Act as the first point of contact for applicants, through multiple online channels
  • Monitoring and acting on time critical dates e.g., new hire start dates
  • Scheduling and coordinating interviews
  • Work with our third-party provider, Verifile, to coordinate background checks and on-boarding documents
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data in line with GDPR regulations

What next

We are looking for someone with relevant experience in a recruitment role or HR team, or as an experienced administrator. You will be able to pragmatically manage a highly variable workload with competing priorities whilst maintaining attention to detail. You will use effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external customers and candidates. You will be handling confidential information and data, where organisational skills are key.
