Full Time Band 2 Administration Assistant

High Weald, Lewes and Havens Assessment and Treatment Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the High Weald, Lewes and Havens Assessment and Treatment Service for 2 x full time Band 2 Administration Assistant based at Hill Rise, Newhaven.We are looking for a well-organized, efficient administrator to be an effective member of the team.

Preferably you will have experience in a medical setting or administration experience elsewhere. You will have good communication, organisational and time management skills. An ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment is essential and well as having a flexible approach. The main duties of the role include filing clerk duties alongside undertaking reception responsibilities and general administration tasks.

You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including 'Outlook' and 'Word'. Experience in the use of databases is desirable as well as running and maintaining a complex filing system.

Hours: 37.50 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

Main duties of the job The successful candidate will complete standard reception duties such as answering and filtering telephone calls as well as welcome patients, visitors and carers to site. They will also be expected to complete other administrative tasks that will ensure variety to the workload. Excellent communication skills are required.
