Finance Officer

Hours: 37 hours per week. We are willing to be flexible for the right candidate and can offer full time or term time only working and also part working from home 

Salary Range: Scale 5, pts 13-17, £24,948 - £26,845 Actual salary will be dependent on hours

Closing Date: 9am Monday 20th February

Start Date: As soon as possible 

Varndean School requires an enthusiastic, committed and experienced Finance Officer to join our busy Finance department. Excellent all-round finance skills and attention to detail are a prerequisite, along with a flexible attitude and willingness to be part of school life. Previous experience of using school accounting systems, particularly SIMS FMS, would be a distinct advantage. 

The Finance Dept is at the heart of the school and you would be working closely with the Director of Finance & Operations to ensure the smooth operation of the finance functions including processing purchase orders, paying invoices, reconciling accounts and producing reports.
