Job description

  • Contract details: Permanent. Part time - 30hrs per week
  • Location: Home based, with some meetings in Sussex
  • Salary: £25,000 pa, pro rata, rising to £26,500 pa pro rata + generous holiday

We need an ambitious sales and marketing enthusiast who can help us to scale up our apIMPACT business strategy products. Someone confident in researching and talking to clients, but a stickler for detail and organisation so we can track what is working and what isn’t.

You will love observing trends and conversations, helping to create useful content and resources that hit the right notes with potential clients. You see outstanding customer service as the minimum expected, not a nice-to-have.

You will be restless to improve. Committed to professional development and review, supporting our strategic approach to project design and delivery improvement.

What to expect

The following list is not exhaustive but gives an indication of regular things you might be doing:

  • Building and nurturing our lists of leads and potential clients and discovering
  • Using tools to gather intelligence and contact information
  • Sending useful resources and marketing material to potential clients
  • Organising meetings, calls and followup emails in a seamless way
  • Bringing the always possible A Game to networking meetings, awards ceremonies and conferences
  • Creating and commissioning blogs, articles and think pieces that turn heads and inspire people to take a deeper look at what we do
  • Creating and distributing punchy and useful resources and case studies
  • Helping to power the apIMPACT team with account management, client profiles and follow-up calls
  • Supercharging always possible’s reputation through your work and energy as an outstanding organisation to work for and with
  • Data protection compliance and support

Essential criteria

Very good written communication and organisational skills
A good level of numeracy, literacy and ICT skills
Experience of B2B sales and lead generation
Research and investigation skills
Experience of contributing to blogs, newsletters or other written marketing materials
Good observational skills, intuition and attention to detail
Self-motivation, critical thinking skills and a willingness to learn
Ability to work flexibly, independently and collaboratively
A good sense of humour

Desirable criteria

Experience of using monday.com, or similar project tools
Experience of using CRM such as Hubspot
Experience in high impact content creation
A demonstrable interest in inclusive business and social value
Experience of working in a small business or start-up enterprise
