Senior System Analyst - CMMS (12 month secondment)

Are you our next Senior System Analyst? We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for our engineering department.

What is the role?

The Engineering team deliver what matters. They protect, maintain, and repair our infrastructure. From the electricity that powers this place. Giant plant rooms that heat and cool the airport. To the specialist equipment on the airfield too!

(CMMS) Senior Systems Analyst is accountable for the day-to-day management of the CMMS system. You will develop the system to support engineering maintenance and asset management processes.

As CMMS Senior Systems Analyst you will develop the asset performance reports, ensuring quality of asset data and information to support strategic asset management decisions.

What will you do?
  • Tactical system administration and management function of the Ultimo, Tranman, Maximo and Documentum archives.
  • Providing functional support to end-users, daily system maintenance, system changes and new functionality, dealing with system faults and integration queries.
  • Performing data loads to the CMMS and SAP, creating linkages between interdependent systems and databases.
  • Manage CSS calculations & reports for LEPC, Baggage Arrivals, FEGP & Jetties. Creation, deployment & automation of system reports, running SQL queries and maintaining the database integrity.
  • Design and development of process, data and reporting solutions as part of the business improvement to support the Engineering and Asset Management functions.
  • Developing training programmes and material for user groups. Managing the roll out of such training programmes.
  • Providing support in the auditing activities and delivery of the ASP processes to maintain and strengthen GAL's ISO 55001 accreditation

Do you have what we're looking for?
  • Experience in leading a small team (including 3 rd parties) in an Engineering IT systems environment focusing on innovation and operational excellence.
  • Commercially balanced view - value: cost, process, and people.
  • Strong understanding of various engineering functions in an airport environment and their interaction with the various engineering IT systems.
  • Good knowledge of engineering systems, how to integrate such systems and how to create data uploads between each.
  • Strong ability in the development of system queries and management reports.
  • Good understanding of Asset Management processes and ISO 55001 requirements.
  • Experience in developing and delivering system training.
  • Qualified to A level standard in business, science or IT related subjects
