About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Airline Pilot Careers Administrator to join our busy team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and customer service skills to support the sales process of the airline pilot careers programmes during a period of expected growth.
In this role you will be liaising with the selection team to actively monitor applications for our programmes to maximise numbers being booked onto online or full assessment and assist in the closing the sales enrolment activity the new cadets. This role will involve the daily interaction with aspiring airline pilots, their sponsors and family members through all forms of communication including face to face visits. You will provide advice and guidance for our programmes and be there to encourage them to take their next steps. As part of the careers advice team you will develop strong relationships with our customers and will need to possess the confidence to handle all enquiries in a calm and professional manner.
Day to day responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Issue accurate training agreements within predefined timescales
- Develop strong professional relationships
- Follow up calls to customers for o/s paperwork and deposits
- Enter sales orders accurately and within agreed timescale
- Follow data protection for customer confidentiality
- Communications logged in relevant files and spreadsheets updated
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- Administration experience in an office environment
- Accurate and detail focused
- Good organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with flexible and proactive attitude
- Proficient with technology in particular Word / Excel / with ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, provide articulate correspondence
- Willingness to approach any task with enthusiasm
- High level of customer focus
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Proven team player with the ability to support colleagues
- Adaptable approach to new tasks and opportunities
- Ability to deal with various cultures
This role is full time 40 hours per week
Flexible working based 3 days in the office per week
Based in Crawley, required to travel once a week to Whiteley for team meetings.
