People's Partnership have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Head of Marketing Operations.

This role is a hybrid opportunity with the successful candidate working both at home and in the office.

Main Purpose:

• Drive and deliver a culture of continuous improvement in marketing.
• Contribute to a marketing centre of excellence with a strong understanding of and focus on digital culture and capability.
• Lead the day to day activity of the Marketing Op’s team within the Marketing Department, providing data, marketing analysis and reporting, copywriting, design, traffic management, including processes and policies that ensure the smooth running of the area, budget and head count control, management of the organisation’s brands and events provision.
• They manage and motivate the team to optimise its performance and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the department in line with business strategy, departmental and commercial goals, internal policies, legislation and regulation.
• A passionate advocate and defender of our brand design elements and use of TOV using both to tell our brand story, of evidence-based marketing, operational efficiency, maximising the impact of our brand at all external events and across all customer touch points, the Head of Marketing Operations works with colleagues across the department, directorate and wider business to meet customer needs and contributes to the growth and development of the organisation.

Skills & Experience:

Essential

• Professional qualification e.g. CIM Chartered Marketer or equivalent
• Degree or commensurate experience
• Brand, design and creative copywriter management experience, including recruiting and selection of agencies
• Experience of provision of Operational communications
• Extensive track record in partnering the business to develop and deliver successful creative marketing strategies
• Experience of leading a Marketing function
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Proven ability to work in a high-pressure environment where multi-tasking, thoroughness and prioritisation is essential
• Proven ability to work independently and proactively engaging with teams via different channels including face to face
• Current technical experience of best practice in content marketing
• Demonstrable recent experience of commissioning and managing effective B2B and B2C marketing content across digital and offline channels
• Expert knowledge of systems, software, tools and techniques for design/artwork
• Demonstrable experience of brand management, writing events management for offline and digital channels, developing and implementing multi-channel brand guidelines
• Experience of providing an operational framework to support regulatory and brand compliance
• Proven ability to create compelling and creative pensions and occupational health content
• Experience of building a new brand and story-telling to improve understanding of what the company stands for

Desirable

• Familiarity with CRM, CMS, SEO and social media
• Expert in provision of marketing analytics
• Knowledge of inbound marketing, customer journey mapping, inbound marketing
• Excellent pensions technical product knowledge
