Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Hybrid remote working with 3 days a week in our VHQ Crawley, West Sussex

Contract: Up to 12 Month FTC/Secondment

Optimisation Executive is one of our utmost important roles within our Ecommerce and Performance department. As the customer custodian of all UX journeys, your prime responsibility is to ensure each website touchpoint is optimized from a conversion and NPS score. The successful candidate will hold a strong portfolio of A/B testing, analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a personable and professional demeanour.

Day to day

As our Optimisation Executive, you will be required to drive and pull a strategy which focuses:

- Ensuring that the Digital servicing channels are fully optimised and realising the agreed business benefits be it revenue, progression funnel ratio and customer satisfaction

- Feed new ideas into our Digital roadmap and manage these from concept through to delivery working alongside product delivery teams.

- Implement A/B, MVT experiences across all Virgin websites and channels.

- Ensure projects being managed are compliant with relevant governance methodologies

- Use data insights, heuristic analysis, and UX analytics tools to identify customer pain points and provide recommendations on next steps to maximise benefits.

- Work closely with UX/CX, design, content, Analytics teams, online marketing team, to scope out tests, document requirements, create hypotheses, develop variations to test, build tests and thoroughly QA.

- Ongoing sharing of learnings and knowledge about user behaviour into all future digital projects, ensuring customers are represented in every decision the business make.

- Provide consultancy on strategies to reduce customer friction and improve funnel conversion rates, revenue and other KPIs and metrics for businesses

- Work in a complex environment in a cross-functional team

About you

Are you a passionate team player?

You may come from an Analytics Implementation specialist, Digital Analyst, Optimisation, Product Analyst, Web Analyst or Web Developer role.

In addition to the above, we’re looking for our successful Technical Analyst to demonstrate the following:

- Proven experience in a similar role.

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS to create advanced tests around UX/UI and assist in troubleshooting website functionality issues.

- Proven working experience with web analytics products and A/B testing platforms (Adobe Analytics, Target, Optimizely, Quantum Metrics and Medallia).

- Support Manager with developing new dashboards within Quantum Metrics & Adobe around customer journey trends, identify how different audience/segments behave on site during various trading.

- Challenging customer centric mindset and a clear understanding of Agile development processes.

- Ability to adopt different user testing strategies and analysis of testing results to drive decision making and product improvements.

- Deep understanding and experience of key elements that impact conversation e.g., customer journey management, website personalisation, A/B and multi testing, customer segmentation, competitors benchmarking, etc.

- Commercially focused in driving sales online and working in a support role within a team.

- Good stakeholder management, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
