Job summary

To work as an integral part of the ward/departmental/health centre/communityhub teams, with a flexible approach within the Facilities Department. Performcleaning / catering duties as required in all areas of the Healthcare premisesto the required standard and complying with legislation.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a motivated and hard-working individual to work as part of our Facilities and Domestic teams and ensure our standards meet the National Specifications for Cleanliness in the NHS. The role involves cleaning the hospital in clinical and non-clinical areas, serving beverages to patients on the wards, food handling, waste removal, this position also includes a considerable amount of manual handling and physical work.

Although this role will be predominantly cleaning in clinical areas such as wards and non-clinical areas (offices etc).
