At Interparcel We pride ourselves on our customer service and are looking for a competent and proactive PA who has excellent organisational skills with the ability to adapt, make change and help the Managing Directors push the business forward.

This role requires a self-motivated driven person with a “can do” attitude. You must be able to multitask, work well as a support and as an individual, be keen to provide undivided support to the Managing Directors and all staff.

Interparcel are an online parcel delivery booking and comparison service. They have a wide selection of discounted UK, European and International parcel & package delivery services from the major worldwide carriers including UPS, TNT, FedEx, DPD, CitySprint, DX, Parcelforce, and Evri. They also offer specialised services including same day, urgent delivery, and pallet delivery and collection. They run bespoke software which means as a business or eCommerce business you can find the right price and handle all your parcel sending efficiently, in one place.

Part- Time - Monday to Friday 10am - 3pm

What will you be doing as a Personal Assistant?

  • Act as a main point of contact for the staff within the company and external colleagues in the absence of the MD’s
  • Look after office and building maintenance
  • Order all supplies for the company
  • Arrange personal and business appointments/meetings
  • Ensure the MDs are on time for meetings
  • Update the MDs on information when given to me
  • Run personal errands where required
  • Process accounts monthly on excel and sage
  • Uphold the strictest confidentiality of the business and personal affairs of the MD’s and staff
  • Deal with all post that comes into the business
  • Respond to emails within a timely manor
  • Organize staff events
  • Undertake HR duties
  • More in depth overview at interview

  • Great communication skills internally and externally
  • Be self-motivated

  • The ability to multitask
  • Work well under pressure
  • Exceptionally organised
  • Dynamic attitude with a desire to achieve

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

  • Full clean driving license
  • Personal Assistant experience at a high level
  • Microsoft word/excel experience
  • Be able to multitask
  • Be able to act upon immediate request

Desirable:

  • Sage experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Courier background
