Money Advice Plus is looking to welcome a new member to our friendly, committed team. You will be working alongside Money Advisers to support people who have been referred to our money management project by the Council’s Adult Social Care teams. You will manage your own caseload of longer-term clients as well as being part of the team ensuring the smooth running of the office. You will build strong relationships with your clients, playing a key role in helping people be more in control of their finances.
Money Advice Plus is a well-established, award-winning Money Advice charity working both locally in the Brighton and Hove area, and nationally. We’re experts in working with vulnerable clients, including victims of domestic abuse, people experiencing other forms of abuse, and people with mental ill-health. We also provide innovative money handling services to help people stay in control of their finances. We keep each client at the centre of the advice process, and tailor the help we provide to their individual needs and aims.
You will be joining a large team of Advisers, Money Support Workers and support staff, working across a range of interesting and varied projects, based in Hove. We offer generous leave (25 days, rising to 30 days over 5 years, plus 2 additional days around Christmas, plus Bank Holidays), training, staff wellbeing support services, and a 4% employer’s pension contribution.
If you’d like an informal chat about whether we might be a good fit for you, or if you’d like to receive application details in a different format, please contact us on 01273 664000 or email philippa.powell@moneyadviceplus.org.uk
