Relationship Manager

Brighton - Hybrid - Full Time

About us

At The Love Local Jobs Foundation, we believe that the right people create the right culture.  Our core values help to define who we are, by inspiring one another and encouraging us to thrive personally and professionally. We believe that being curious makes us more knowledgeable, being kind to those around us gives us humility, and our relentlessness brings us results and growth.

Creating and collaborating on phenomenal programmes in the local community allows us to address barriers and challenges that young people may face and provide the opportunities to overcome these, helping them to fulfil their potential both personally and professionally.

With the demand for our programmes increasing, we are looking for someone to support the growth of our work by managing our incredibly important relationships across all sectors.

That is where YOU come in.

What you’ll do

You will support the achievement of The Love Local Jobs Foundation’s vision by being present in the community; visiting private and public bodies and working to bridge the gap between education and employment.

You will play a crucial role in the management of all key relationships with our Charity’s partners, including schools, colleges, universities, community groups, youth associations, local authorities, complimentary charities, and most importantly, ethical local employers who care about making a positive impact within the communities they serve and operate from.

You will support in generating private and public funding for our programmes through maintaining, strengthening and developing relationships that will support the charity’s continued growth.

You will enjoy working in a hybrid setup and working as part of a team to achieve success.

Company

Who we are

The Love Local Jobs Foundation is a registered Charity that was formed in March 2023 as a continuation of the work previously delivered by the LoveLocalJobs Foundation C.I.C. (Community Interest Company) which has helped to inspire over 23,000 young people in Sussex.

The C.I.C. was launched by our founders Gary and Kate Peters in 2018 with support from ambassador Harry Redknapp and other influential individuals from the local community. Since then the C.I.C. has worked with over 1,000 business volunteers from leading local employers, to help considerably raise the life and career aspirations of our next generation across Sussex.

Our new charitable status will allow us to enhance our mission of supporting and empowering local young people. We'll continue to partner with ethical employers, educational institutions, and public sector entities to provide even more opportunities for the next generation of talent in our communities. Additionally, we'll focus on delivering essential support to those who need it most. Becoming a registered Charity is a significant step towards creating a positive impact in the lives of even more young people.

We love what we do. We are the Love Local Jobs Foundation.
