Job Details
Full time Credit controller
The role will be working as part of the Accounts Team, dealing with credit control. This is a full time position with hours are 9:00am to 17.00 Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
- Allocation of receipts and match off on daily basis
- Chase overdue invoices daily by email/telephone
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
- Taking payments over telephone, allocation and advising relevant departments
- Identify any payment changes patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness
- Ensure all transactions are compliant with SARs and HMRC regulations
- Respond promptly and completely to clients and internal enquires
- Prepare files to enable legal action to be taken
- Provide ad hoc reporting when requested
- Send out monthly statements
- Provide cover for other accounting functions as requested
- Any other duties given from time to time by Finance Manager
