Agency Contract & Operational Manager 9 month contract Full time Hybrid working- 2/3 days office based Located in Hove Role Purpose: To be responsible for the strategic and operational management, performance monitoring and procurement of all HROD supplier contracts to ensure the delivery of fit for purpose, high performing, value for money services in line with agreed standards and contractual obligations. General Accountabilities: Contract manage the Agency staff contract to ensure that the services provided meet customer and organisational requirements and are delivered to agreed contractual standards and KPIs Act as the operational day-to-day contract manager and first point of contact for the Temporary Agency Worker Supply contract Provide strategic capacity to other operational contract managers across the HROD service Undertake and support other work related to HR reward, policy and projects Responsible for ensuring agency workers are paid in compliance in line with Agency Worker Regulations (AWR). Key candidate requirements: Experienced recruiter or contract manager with experience of large organisation agency staffing requirements. Ability to successfully manage supplier performance kpi's and complex relationships. Able to successfully manage projects & streams of work. Confident to challenge, a problem solver, self-starter & uses initiative. Work with suppliers & customers to ensure all areas of the council's agency supply needs are met Can navigate ambiguity and complexity with confidence and be adept at understanding an audience and challenging things constructively Can effectively manage change and challenge Can digest and interpret complex details and has the ability to develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Agency Worker Regulations (AWR). Can communicate information in an accessible way to meet the needs of our diverse customer group.
