Description: People's Partnership have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Finance Technician.
Responsible for providing financial assistance to the Head of Financial Control in 2 key areas, payroll administration support and financial reporting support. The role includes but not limited to help and support with the payroll email inbox answering queries, meeting acceptable levels of response time and identification of areas of improvement to reduce queries and questions whilst providing excellent customer service to our employees including assistance with the production of the 2 monthly payrolls.
On the Financial reporting side, provision of production of balance sheet reconciliations and review, preparing data in excel format to be used by the team and identifying ways to improve the overall processing of capturing data and assist with preparation of external reporting.
Skills & Experience:
• Good knowledge and use of excel and must be numerically minded
• Good knowledge of BAPP & core systems
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Ability to multitask, stay focused and organised
• Good knowledge of accruals, prepayments, fixed assets would be preferable
• AAT or working toward similar accounting qualification
• Previous experience working in a Finance environment
• Previous experience working with accounting general ledge software
