Warehouse Operator

Monday - Friday 11:00 - 20:00 and Sunday AM rota, 1 in 4, however flexibility is required.

Within the warehouse, we offer storage, fulfilment and container decanting and we are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team.

You will enjoy a varied role of loading and unloading vehicles and picking stock along with general warehouse duties.

Working within a busy, dangerous environment you will ensure that you always adhere to safe operating and health and safety practices as well as assisting with keeping the yard and warehouse clean and tidy.

Attention to detail, good organisation and time management skills are required to enable you to complete all administration to a high level of accuracy, scan and label freight, report damages, defects and hazards and ensuring the security of all warehouse freight.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service and communication skills to meet the demands of our internal and external customers whilst working to tight deadlines.

You will be working 40 hours per week (days only) with rostered Sundays, and we are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to work overtime at busy periods.

Experience of loading and unloading in a Logistics environment is desirable but not essential – if you have the right attitude and approach, we can teach you all you need to know but the role can be physically demanding. If you do not have the forklift truck licence we would be happy to support you with that – if you have the right attitude and work ethic.
