Our client is currently seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join their team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a creative flair, and the ability to consistently deliver high–quality dishes. As a Chef, you will play a key role in menu development, kitchen management, and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation are upheld.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and scheduling staff
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and consistency
- Monitor food costs and work towards achieving budgetary goals
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into our culinary offerings
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Proven experience working as a Chef in a high–volume restaurant or culinary establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast–paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ideally you will have a DBS check
