Our client has been established since 2016, providing housing and support to young people in need. They are currently looking for a Registered Service Manager to join their hardworking and dedicated team in Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a Registered Service Manager role, possess a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent, hold an enhanced DBS check and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

As a Registered Service Manager, you will contribute to the development of the organisation, provide assistance to the assessment processes, referral processes as well as transition processes for all young people, ensuring all complaints are dealt with according to organisational policy and effectively communicate with external agencies on behalf of the organisation, including attending meetings or speaking at conferences/national events.

The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:

  • Demonstrable experience within a Registered Service Manager role
  • Possess a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification
  • Must hold an enhanced DBS check
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Have strong IT skills

Your duties as a Registered Service Manager will include:

  • Positively contribute to the development of the organisation through being an active participant of the management team, including participation in the on–call and out–of–hours management of the organisation
  • Contribute to the assessment processes, referral processes and be an active participant in transition processes for all young people
  • Ensuring all complaints are dealt with according to organisational policy
  • Actively contribute to an environment in which all staff understand the impact young people s past experience may have on their present stage of development and conduct
  • Engage in effective communication with external agencies on behalf of the organisation, including attending meetings or speaking at conferences/national events as required
  • Contribute to the planning, implementation and monitoring of organisational and service development plans
  • Promote an integrated approach to the delivery of learning, ensuring that all of the organisation s resources are effectively utilised in the delivery of individualised support experiences
  • Ensuring that health and safety requirements are maintained throughout the organisation, taking action when required as well as ensuring that service remains compliant at all times with all legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Assume responsibility for the leadership, management and development of a registered supported housing service in line with organisation s vision and values, whilst adhering to the Supported Accommodation Regulations and Ofsted
  • Contribute positively to the ongoing development of the organisation
  • Participate in the induction and development of staff

Salary:

Up to GBP40,000 per annum depending on experience
