We are seeking a talented and organised Baker to work within our team. You will prepare a variety of baked goods, following existing recipes and prepare large quantities of breads, pastries and cakes. There will also be opportunities to create new recipes and you will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning all baking equipment.

Is this you?

  • Eligible to live and work in the UK (full working visa)
  • Have previous experience as a cook, chef, baker's assistant or relevant work experience.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work early mornings, nights and weekends
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Love working in a team but also work well on individual tasks
  • Have knowledge of food and hygiene regulations
  • Have an awareness of health and safety.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed

You’ll join an established company who believes in making good food using good ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible.  All our products are handmade, and we pride ourselves on being very culinary based, working with several Michelin star chefs which allows us to stay on trend.

  • Insistent on working in a clean & tidy environment and ensure all hygiene, health & safety standards are met.
  • Be required to lift weights of up to 25 pounds or more
  • Be able to work quick and efficiently under pressure with strong communicational skills
  • Operate, monitor, clean and maintain all baking equipment and kitchen machines
  • Prepare, knead, roll and cut dough as required
  • Decorate, glaze, apply icing and prepare toppings for baked goods.
  • Evaluate ingredients and food for quality
  • Order/receive supplies and coordinate deliveries
