Office/Operations Manager - LCG Ltd Crawley
£30,000 - £32,000 a year - Full-time, Permanent


Following a successful and busy year, LCG is recruiting for a leadership role to join us as we progress to the next stage in our well established, family run Wholesale & Distribution business based in Crawley, West Sussex. We distribute via our own vehicles and national haulage across the whole of UK and we also regularly export to the EU.

LCG has two separate trading arms that consist of two service lines; cleaning chemicals/hygiene products and automotive repair products. This role will cover both sides of the business with the initial focus being “automotive” but quickly progressing to include all our products.

The successful candidate will be working alongside the Managing Director and our other close knit team members and will be a key person in both the day-to-day activity and growth of the business.

This position is full-time and based on-site at our large, COVID secure, warehouse/offices on Manor Royal, RH10.

What we are looking for;

Relationship management of our valued customers and suppliers

“Customer is King” approach

Strong ability to manage both Sales and Purchase Ledger

Ownership and development of our Health & Safety policies through our         Citation portal

Good experience of stock management, logistics and related IT systems        (InterPrise ERP would be an advantage)

Strong attention to detail skills and focus on process improvements

Self-motivated and solutions oriented mind-set

Someone who wants to add value to our company

Qualifications;

Whilst there is no specific requirement for a first-class honours degree we would like to see evidence of a good solid general education and a strong amount of real-world working experience.

We are looking to fill the position within 1 month but ultimately as we desire the "right person" we can be flexible with your current arrangements if required.
