Marketing and Events Co-ordinator

Your responsibilities

You will have day-to-day responsibility for designing, marketing and delivering our membership events programme with guidance and support from our General Manager. You will also work closely with our Membership Manager to ensure a joined-up approach across our membership development and events operations. As a member of a small team, you will be flexible and prepared to contribute across the full range of our responsibilities.

What qualifications and experience will you need?

Whilst there are no specific qualification requirements, you will have demonstrated, through your education and/or work experience, the commitment and discipline to do well in a position calling for self-motivation and drive.  Natural communication and “people skills” are a must.

You will be a competent social media and IT user, ideally with experience in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) with an aptitude to further develop your skills.   Experience in marketing and/or event management will be an advantage but not essential as you will be given the opportunity and support to grow into the role.

Who are we looking for?

You will be an enthusiastic team-worker with strong communication and organisational skills.  Whilst having an eye for detail and aptitude for careful planning, you will also bring imagination and the ability to enthuse others, providing support to the Membership and Events programme and supporting the smooth running of our processes. You will also be committed to customer service and getting things right.

Terms of Employment

You will be based at our Crawley office with the flexibility to be able to work from home, but will need to travel to attend networking and other activities across the Gatwick Diamond.  You will work standard office hours with 20 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays) rising each year to a maximum of 25 days.
