Your responsibilities

As well as general administrative tasks your responsibilities will include: maintaining our membership database; communicating with our existing and prospective members; preparing for networking events and other activities; helping to bring together our promotional material and membership magazine; reconciling monthly accounts, creating invoices & chasing payments and updating our website and social media communications.

What qualifications and experience will you need?

You will have been successful at GCSE/A Levels or above and have strong communication skills including a good telephone manner.  You will be a competent IT user ideally with experience of using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and also Publisher, PowerPoint and Xero. Experience of Microsoft Dynamics would also be an advantage. Above all, you will be enthusiastic, hardworking and a strong team player.

Terms of Employment

A great opportunity for a part office and part home based role. The main purpose of this role is to providing administration support to Membership recruitment and retention and our Events programme, supporting the smooth running of our processes. Working hours and pay to be agreed depending on qualifications and experience.  Office-based in Crawley with the flexibility to sometimes work from home, but may also be required to attend some of our events.  The post has 20 days holiday pro rata per full calendar year, along with Bank Holidays.
